Couch Cleaning Woodville West

Woodville West is a western-suburbs neighbourhood in the City of Charles Sturt, between Woodville, Findon and Seaton. Much of it was built as post-war Housing Trust homes, and over the last fifteen years a large share of those blocks has been redeveloped into modern townhouses and courtyard homes, so old brick cottages and brand-new builds now sit side by side on the same streets.

That mix shows up in the furniture. In the new townhouses, living areas are compact and open-plan, so one fabric sofa or a small modular with a chaise does all the work: it is the lounge, the dining spot and sometimes the home office. In the older homes we often find long-serving lounge suites, recliners and armchairs that have been in the family for years and are too comfortable, or too well made, to throw out.

Compact living means the couch gets used hard. Food and drink marks from eating in front of the TV, body-oil build-up on headrests and arms, and flattened, darker seat cushions are the most common complaints. In the older homes the issue is usually years of slow, even soiling that makes a once-pale fabric look grey, plus the occasional recliner that has developed a smell nobody can quite place.

Food marks and oily patches are pre-treated separately before a full extraction, so the whole piece finishes evenly. For older lounge suites and recliners we check the fabric code and condition first, clean the mechanism areas where crumbs and odours collect, and give you an honest view on whether the piece will come up well before you spend anything.
