Local service
Findon is a settled inner-west suburb with a strong, long-established family character — a lot of well-kept homes, tidy front gardens, and households where the house is looked after with real pride. That pride shows up in the living room, and it shapes the kind of couch cleaning we do here: often it is not about rescuing a disaster, it is about keeping a good lounge looking the way its owners like it.
Findon homes frequently run two lounges: the everyday couch in the family room that takes the daily traffic, and a "good" lounge suite in the formal front room that is kept for visitors and used only occasionally. That second one has its own issue — a couch that is barely sat on still ages. It collects airborne dust, it can flatten and fade by a window, and because nobody is using it, nobody notices until guests are coming and it suddenly looks tired. Both types are usually mid-to-good fabric worth maintaining.
So there are two distinct jobs in Findon. The everyday couch has the normal accumulation — food, oils, kids, general wear. The formal lounge has the opposite problem: not stains, but dust settled deep into the weave, a slightly musty note from sitting closed up, and uneven fade where the sun has reached one end. People often underestimate how much dust a "clean, unused" couch is actually holding until it is extracted.
The everyday couch gets a standard pre-treat and extraction to lift the built-up soil. The formal lounge gets a deeper dust extraction and a deodorising pass to clear the closed-up staleness, plus fabric-testing first because good front-room suites are more often wool or a delicate blend that does not want to be over-wetted. Where sun-fade has set in we are upfront that cleaning evens out the appearance by removing grime but cannot restore bleached colour. The goal in a house-proud suburb is simple: hand back a lounge that looks the way the owner remembers it.

Findon questions
It is dirtier than it looks. A couch that sits in a front room still collects fine airborne dust deep in the weave and can pick up a musty, closed-up smell, and sitting near a window flattens and fades it. When we extract one of these the water comes back surprisingly grey. A clean and a deodorise brings it back to fresh, which is usually exactly what people want before visitors.
Doing both in the one visit is the efficient way to do it, and the price is worked out per piece from our published rates and confirmed on inspection before we start. There are no surprises added at the end. Tell us both pieces when you book and we will give you the full picture up front.
