Yes, because we do not leave the drying to the room. High-powered extraction pulls most of the moisture out during the clean itself, so a couch dries in hours even in a cooler, tree-shaded foothills house that would air-dry slowly. If the room is particularly closed-in we can use a low-moisture method that dries faster again. Controlling the moisture is the whole point — an over-wetted couch in a shaded room is what goes musty.
