Yes to both. Large modern sofas in high-ceilinged conversions are a routine job — we clean the whole piece in place. The access is the part worth flagging when you book: converted warehouses often have unusual entries, narrow stairs or a shared loading area, and knowing that in advance means we arrive with the right setup rather than working it out on the doorstep. It can, yes. The air off the harbour is damp and carries salt, and that reaches a couch whether the building is a century old or brand new — it tends to leave upholstery more prone to a musty, slightly dulled condition than you would get inland.
